How to get Designer clothes on a budget

budget

It doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to dress in designer clothes. You can get designer clothes almost on a dime! The key is buying gently used clothing at thrift stores.  People buy designer clothes and then give them to charity every day of the week.  Sometimes they don’t fit anymore or they just didn’t like it after they bought it.  Trust me, there are tons of great designer clothes for you to choose from.  I have found some designer clothes, brand new with the tag still on them!

Below is a list of just some of the designer second hand clothes I have found in the Goodwill and other thrift stores: You can shop knowing that most of these stores are for charity and you are helping others by shopping there. That always feels wonderful to me.

Calvin Klein       Christian Dior        Eddie Bauer               Gucci

Izod                      Ralph Lauren        Tommy Hilfiger         Danny & Nicole

I discovered these designer clothes when I was selling on eBay.  For a while, I bought and sold designer clothes on eBay but I’ve been so busy I don’t get around to it anymore! But, I promise to write a blog post on selling on eBay.

Here are a couple of beautiful designer pieces I found not too long ago.

You will find not only designer blouses and pants but purses and shoes.  They even have name brand clothing for toddlers and children of all ages.

I sold a beautiful designer vest on eBay for $60 and only paid $2.99 for it!  I don’t have a photo of that one anymore but you get the idea.  People are willing to pay good money for designer clothes, so why not dress yourself and your family on a dime!

The point here is you don’t always need everything brand new.  When you wear these designer clothes no one will ever know you didn’t buy it right off the rack from Macy’s.  They still look amazing and will last for many years to come.

And to boot, you’ll be wearing something that no one else has. Good designer brands are often better quality clothes too, with better cuts and fabric.

Have fun shopping for designer clothes and then come back and comment and let me know what bargains you found!
